A Little Look at Christmas

Christmas has always been all about family with my folks...whether we liked each other or not.  It seems though that as the years go on, we like each other more and more and the laughter is more abundant than the sniping.

We're adults after all, right?

For the most part anyway.

There are things that always happen though...

• Mom and I cook too much.
• Everyone eats too much.
• My brother's family is just a little late...which sends Dad over the edge.  (Patience is not a virtue he's embraced.)
• My parent's over buy in the gift department.
• There is a huge mess left over after the boys leave.
• Someone gets their panties in a twist over something that may or may not have been said or done...but it's short-lived as soon as Asher does some nutty thing he does.
• There is laughter.
• There is love.
• There is a nap.

The photos this year looked like something out of a sitcom to me for some reason.
